Founded in 1983 as a "100% Charity" the SladeChild Foundation's mission is to improve the lives of destitute children worldwide.   We apply 100% of your donation towards food, clothing, shelter, education and medical care to thousands of children around the world, including the United States.  We do this primarily by supporting ""child relief projects"" that are already up and running, and are providing needy children with help.  Please take a look at the children relief projects we support around the world.   They come in all shapes and sizes, some being secular, some faith based, and all caring for children that would otherwise be lost and without hope.

Our 100% policy is very important to our mission.  The trustees of the SladeChild Foundation are committed to providing a true charity where the public's donations go in full towards helping the children, and not towards some vague "overhead." We realize that not all charities can operate as a 100% charity, but the SladeChild Foundation does.  If the percentage of your hard-earned donation going to "overhead" is important to you, then you will be pleased that the SladeChild Foundation is a 100% Charity.

We pay our "overhead" - office help, postage, equipment, copying, printing, advertising, etc. - from trustee dues and interest on our trust accounts.   Each trustee pays $50 per month, and all interest on our trust accounts is deposited in our "Administrative Fund." We then pay all of our overhead out of our Administrative Fund.

All public donations, like yours, are deposited in full in our "Children's Grant Fund."  In this way you can be assured that 100% of your donation is going to help destitute children, and our "overhead" is paid by our trustees and interest  -- not by you.   For further information, take a look at SCF Funds.
