was voted
Charity of the Year in Bowie MD for 2016.
In 2015, Executive Director Karen Slade recieved the Fannie Lou Hamer Award for Community Service from the Dr. Martin Luther King Foundation in Annapolis MD.
In 2001, SladeChild was awarded the Charity of the Year Award from the Live A Difference Foundation.
